From the History of Training Historians at the Postgraduate Institute (On the Example of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan)

Abstract

This article deals with the establishment of the Institute of Postgraduate Studies in the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan during the Second World War and the system of training researchers for the history of Uzbekistan. Based on the analysis of archival documents, the attitude of the Soviet government to the issue of training scientific personnel, the organizational aspects of postgraduate education, the problems in the training of national personnel through postgraduate education during the war years are mentioned.
